A Private Estate Wedding in Virginia is always a great idea.
Sara and Kevin chose to wed at her families Apple Orchard Farm in Clear Brook Virginia on an April afternoon.
This Private Estate Wedding was one of our first for the 2019 Wedding season, and it was such a beautiful way to really kick off busy season.
Their outdoor estate wedding was absolutely stunning.
Most importantly, the couple wished for perfect weather on their day because the entire event was held outdoors. This included an open sky reception under the stars without a tent.
One of my favorite personal touches were the farmhouse reception tables, hand built by the groom.
I really love it when my couples put bits of themselves into their wedding day because it is such a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple.
The weather was perfect, and their wedding was seriously what dreams are made of!
Sara was such a timeless bride.
Her style was classic, and elegant, and just absolute perfection. Her wedding dress fit like a glove and it was as if the dress chose her.
One of my favorite parts of the entire day was adventuring through the apple orchards at sunset with Sara and Kevin.
Clouds had begun to roll in, and we were so afraid it would rain on us but we went for it anyway!
I saw a beautiful mauve pink armed chair inside the home during bride prep, and asked permission to take it with us to the fields for sunset.
We made magic happen with that chair! I nicknamed the chair “Becky” after Sara’s mother, who graciously let me borrow it for portraits!
The rain held off, which allowed Sara and Kevin to dance the night away under the string lights and stars.
To Sara and Kevin: Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your special day! We wish you all the best!
Here are some of our favorite images from their wedding day!
Father-Daughter first looks will always be my favorite. They are also the reason I wear waterproof mascara to all of my weddings!
Then after the Father-Daughter first look, came Sara and Kevin’s first look in the Apple Orchards. Cue the tears again!
Now it’s onto the ceremony!
