Anna and Nick knew they wanted their engagement pictures to be taken at sunset and have a romantic, laid-back natural feel to them. Which of course, is right up my alley. During their engagement session, Nick was so sweet to Anna. You could just tell how madly in love these two were, and I knew they were the perfect match. After working with them, I was instantly so excited for their Fall wedding.
Do you ever meet someone that you just instantly click with? It was definitely one of those moments for Anna and I when we first met to discuss her engagement session and upcoming wedding. We ended up not only eating lunch, but sitting in a little corner booth of a local restaurant chatting for almost 2-hours.
Anna and I met in Bay Local Eatery over lunch to talk details. As soon as we started talking,
I knew that we would be fast friends.
Nick was quiet and soft-spoken at first. But would say things to her that would make her light up. These two were high school sweethearts, and I always envy that kind of love. My husband and I met when we were 19 years-old and we were just kids. I mean, we are still young- but you know what I’m saying. I love meeting couples that have grown up together with each other. Those types of connections just feel like home.
The location we picked for their engagements is one that has sentimental value to both Anna and Nick. They spend a lot of summer night fishing here and watching the sunset. We had a beautiful golden sunset, and I felt like it was Mother Nature’s gift to them for all the time they spend there! It was seriously breathtaking, and they both watched the sun dip below the horizon and hopefully forgot for just a few minutes that I was even with them taking pictures.
