.Rasberry Plain is one of my favorite manor wedding venues in the Leesburg, Virginia area. Endless fields of greenery and rolling hills surround the Rasberry Plain Manor.
Rasberry Plain is gorgeous inside and out, showcasing a beautiful interior as well as the picturesque landscape of Northern Virginia. The property and is perfect for an indoor or outdoor wedding.
You guys- wow. This wedding was so near and dear to my heart. I really enjoyed seeing this wedding come together after all of the planning, and this wedding was extra special to me for a few reasons, keep reading for the full story!
Christy and I connected over email in November of 2017. They searched for photographers online, and contacted me via email. We knew pretty much instantly that we made a great fit for each other!
We met in person for the first time during their engagement session, and I knew they were my new friends when they agreed to skip down the street holding hands for me!
Jeff proposed on the fifth anniversary from the day they met. Remembering the exact day you met someone, loving them for all of those years, and then proposing to them on it!
My romantic heart absolutely loves it.
Christy is from Hampton Roads, just like I am- but had lived up in Northern, Virginia for over 10 years. For this reason, they chose to have their wedding at the Rasberry Plain Manor in Leesburg, Virginia.
It was important to them that their wedding to have a romantic feel, and Rasberry Plain Manor totally delivered.
The wedding should have taken place in October of 2018. Due to a family member falling seriously ill during the planning process, they made the decision in April to move their wedding date up to July.
After being in this industry, knowing all of the ins and outs of wedding planning, I can tell you this was not an easy decision and it didn’t come without stress for them.
But- THEY DID IT!Â
They pulled it off. You would have NEVER known that this wedding was supposed to originally happen nearly four months later in the year.
This group of girls was SO much fun. Matching jean shirts, custom hats as bridesmaids gifts, and all the champagne toasts!
I absolutely loved all of the different tones + styles of the bridesmaid dresses, and the guys looked so sharp in their tuxes!
Christy is just flawless.
The clouds parted just in time for them to share a first look. Have I mentioned lately how much I love first looks?! That’s an entirely separate blog post- this moment was SO beautiful between them!

Initially Christy and Jeff planned for an outdoor ceremony, but because the forecast had other plans so a decision was made to move the ceremony indoors. The interior of Rasberry Plain is stunning, and the floral decor on the ceilings still gave the space that romantic enchanted garden feeling.
Now onto the PARTY!
